  • The trainer will now have 12 of the 30 runners in Monday’s Irish National 
  • There are two runners from Britain who are set to contest the race at Fairyhouse

Gordon Elliott, who ran a record 11 horses including winner Tiger Roll in the Grand National at Aintree, is responsible for 12 of the 30 runners in Monday’s Irish National at Fairyhouse.

The trainer is trying to win for the second year running and his team include Jury Duty, who unseated jockey Robbie Power in the Grand National.

Willie Mullins, who is yet to win the race, fields seven starters.

They are headed by novice Burrows Saint, a recent winner at Limerick who will be ridden by Ruby Walsh. 

There are two runners from Britain set to contest the race.

They are Jonjo O’Neill’s Minella Rocco and Kimberlite Candy from the stable of Tom Lacey.
